The Iowa Sikh Association started as a monthly meeting in community hall for prayers and Langar (community kitchen). The tiny sapling grows into a plant and then tree by the grace of god. Later the association build a Gurudwara, which is at current location at West Des Moines.
The Gurudwara is open all days with Weekly Prayer on each Sunday and free community meal.
